Following several years’ research in Oxford University, MindWeavers was “spun out” in 2000 to create and sell software-based products that apply world-leading neuronal-level science to harness the dynamism of the human brain.

The science is led by two of the world’s foremost neuroscientists: David Moore, Director of the Medical Research Council Institute of Hearing Research and world-renowed expert on "the Auditory Brain", and Baroness Professor Susan Greenfield, Director of the Royal Institution, The Institute for the Future of the Mind, high profile media personality, writer and broadcaster, award winning science communicator and world expert in neurodevelopment and degeneration.

Exploiting the latest advances in brain science, patented technology and the power of computers our products intelligently and selectively stimulate and train the brain to help individuals attain, sustain and retain their true potential. Neural systems are plastic and malleable highly determined by experience and changing throughout life. The brain can be trained and new ressources built. Our products improve human performance "by design". Simply put, we identify the key components that determine performance and create a carefully-tailored exercises which stimulate the areas of the brain involved. The user operates at their "Edge of competence" continually challenged and in a "peak state" where performance improves dramatically.

Currently key areas of focus are maintaining brain health with age, and language learning and hearing. For Brain Health, MindFit exercises important cognitive skills which protects against the effect of ageing. For language learning and hearing, Phonomena improves the ability to hear the sounds of language. We have
further products under development.

All our products follow our three guiding principles: Based on science, Proven in Practice and Fun to Use.
